Warranty and Returns

Our Warranty

All products come with a 12 month warranty unless stated otherwise.
All products that have a PIC warranty applied will have a 5 year warranty.
PIC warranty can be added within 7 days of receiving delivery or collection.

At Johnny’s Furniture you can buy with confidence and we want our customers to be completely happy with their purchase.

We recommend you read our Warranty Policy prior to you making a purchase, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to have the goods repaired if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Moreover, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Please keep in mind the Johnny’s furniture Quality Guarantee applies to the original purchaser only (warranty is not transferable) and only for products used for reasonable domestic purposes. It excludes products used for commercial reasons.

All guarantee periods start from the date of purchase.

If you are offered a replacement product as part of your warranty claim, the original guarantee period still stands.

There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy.

If goods are to be returned, goods must be returned within a reasonable time and in acceptable condition. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.

You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours, or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are been assessed to have been damaged by neglect, misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

Under the Johnny’s Furniture warranty against defects, the purchaser has the right to repairs of the defective part or product only. Additional repairs will be charged

Johnny's Furniture will charge a minimum of 20% of the total order amount for any cancellations or changes of mind.


Exclusions (subject to the Australian Consumer Law)

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Johnny’s Furniture cannot be not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under any statute or otherwise, for or in respect of:

  1. Normal wear and tear (refer to the 'Caring For Your Furniture' below). In this regard, please note that the following may occur as a result of natural and normal usage:
  2. Your leathers and fabrics will fade and crease your foam and fillings will soften and form the shape of the user over time.
  3. Minor stitching abnormalities that arise due to normal wear and tear that are not consistent with a defect or manufacturing fault.
  4. Depending on the covering and the degree of use, the covering material, seat cushion may need regular
